Picture this:  I’m staring at open cupboards trying to figure out what to make for dinner.  It has to be fast.  It has to be good.  And I have to have all of the ingredients on hand.  If not, what I’m are most likely to make for dinner is…reservations.  Does this sound familiar?  What I needed was a smart grocery list for weight loss, because

Stocking a smarter kitchen is key to weight loss success!  

Here is a link for my shopping list to help you start to stock the kitchen that will allow you to be ready!  I added blank lines for you to fill in items that are “must haves” for your kitchen, and a space for those other things we just need…kleenex, dog food, etc.  With this list, you have all of the ingredients you need to make lots of quick, tasty, filling recipes easily.  Add to this list items you need to make specific recipes you want to use throughout the week, and you’ve streamlined your planning and set yourself up for success!

The other thing I want you to think about is:  if it’s not on the list, do you really need it in your kitchen?  If you’re nervous about getting rid of some of the items you previously thought of as staples, relegate them to a separate cabinet.  If you find yourself going in there for those items, and if they fit into your healthy lifestyle, add them to your list.  If not, feel free to get rid of them (or donate them, if they are unopened and still fresh).

Take stock of your kitchen and take back control!
