Really don’t think you like Brussels Sprouts?  Try this recipe!  (Adapted from original Weight Watchers Recipe)

1 pound Brussels sprouts

1 T EVOO

1 tsp sea salt, divided

black pepper, ground to taste

1 1/2 T balsamic vinegar

1 T Real Maple Syrup (don’t substitute)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Drizzle a cookie sheet with EVOO or spray with cooking spray.  Toss Brussels sprouts, oil, 1 tsp salt and pinch of pepper until Brussels sprouts are coated.  Spread evenly on pan; roast 10 mins.  Stir; continue to roast for approximately 10 minutes more.  While Brussels sprouts are roasting, Combine balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and remaining salt in a small saucepan.  Set over medium heat.  Boil, stirring until thick, 3 – 5 minutes.  Place Brussels sprouts in a serving dish; drizzle with syrup just before serving.

Serves 3 – 4.
