Break out of the salad rut.
Are you stuck in the salad rut? Think the only way to get your fruits and veggies in is with a salad? Simply choose to add one veggie and/or fruit in with every snack or meal (your goal is to get at least 5 servings of veggies and fruits per day). Grab some baby carrots as a side or a quick snack, slice up some fresh cucumbers to munch on instead of crackers (great with hummus!), have a banana or an apple with your sandwich, throw some berries in your cereal, yogurt, or oatmeal in the morning. Look for ways to add fruits and veggies in wherever you can–they will help you stay full and increase the fiber (good for your tummy) and nutrition in your day
