
Chocolate Cherry Protein Bars
I used to think that eating healthfully meant not snacking between meals. The reality (for me, and for many of my clients) is that the right snacks serve to keep us satisfied and on plan. When veggies or fruit aren’t making the cut, try these little gems!

Chocolate Cherry Protein Bars
Chocolate, cherries and protein...a yummy way to keep your tummy satisfied through the afternoon.
Ingredients
- 16 ozs Almond Butter Creamy
- 1/3 cup Agave Nectar
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 2 cups walnuts
- 6 ozs unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 2 cup arbonne chocolate protein powder
- 1 cup arbonne vanilla protein powder
Instructions
Over low heat, combine almond butter, agave nectar and coconut oil until warmed. Stir until blended.
In food processor, pulse almonds until the size of peas. Add dried cherries and pulse until they are chopped. Add coconut, pulse a few more times. Add protein powders and pulse a few times to mix.
Put dry ingredients in large bowl. Pour warmed almond butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until combined. You may have to add small amounts of water if the mixture is too dry; mixture should not be dry and crumbly but soft and pliable.
Pat into 9 x 13 pan. Smooth top. Cut into bite sized squares. Refrigerate. Will set up slightly in fridge.
